Wilmington’s newest attraction is full of adrenaline-packed fun! We introduced axe throwing to our paintball and Nerf business in early 2021. We built out a large 700 sq. ft private section of our facility to accommodate five axe throwing lanes and a lounge with tables, TVs, and music! Unlike most axe throwing places, we allow BYOB/Wine during certain hours! We do not serve alcohol on site. Whether you have a group of one, two, or twenty, we have different packages to accommodate you!

At Crossfire Axe Throwing, we believe safety is the most important. Unlike most axe throwing venues where individuals are throwing side by side with no barrier in between, our axe throwing lanes are individually divided by a solid structure protecting you from others throwing nearby. Another one of the main issues with axe throwing lanes built out of solely wood is the bounce back from axes missing the target. We have designed a rubber barrier to help absorb the impact if the axe misses the desired target. This helps eliminate axes coming back at the thrower and potentially injuring them.

Instead of using a painted-on target that can get boring after a while, we use a projector-based system that projects different game modes on the wood. Don’t worry, we still offer the typical target and different target variations. Want to branch off from the norm and play tic tac toe or maybe zombie hunt with axes? We have it! Easily change the game mode and keep score using a scorecard projected above the target!
