There are many places to throw axes in the state so you might be asking, What makes you so different?

Here are a few things that set Crossfire Axe Throwing apart from the rest!

Gameplay

1.) Projected Axe Throwing Targets 

Most axe throwing venue’s targets are just some 2′ by 10′ boards from Home Depot that they use a big sharpie and draw some circles. Our projected axe throwing targets and games create an adrenaline packed experience that doesn’t get boring after just a few throws.

Each lane at Crossfire features a standard target with a movable bullseye after each throw, Tic Tac Toe, Connect 4, and Zombie Hunt. 

2.) End Grain Wood

Other use 2 x 10 boards from the local hardware store to create an easy to change target system. Our end grain targets consist of 5×5 blocks with the grain going in every direction. There are many benefits to end grain wood vs a standard 2 x 10. Here are just a few:

-The axe sticks easier. We aren’t in the axe throwing business, we’re in the axe sticking business! What fun is throwing an axe if it doesn’t stick every time?

-Longevity. Because the targets are moveable and the wood is less likely to split due to the grain, the wood lasts months! No more throwing axes at a chopped up board! The wood at Crossfire looks new every time you throw.

Safety

3.) No Bounce Borders 

Everyone has seen the video. A lady throws an axe and it bounces back past her head.

Our patent pending no bounce borders kill the momentum from the axe causing it to fall directly down on the ground below the target. 

4.) Solid 11 FT Dividers Between Every Lane

Many venues offer 2 targets per divider. That means two individuals are throwing axes with nothing in between them. This model creates a safety issue and slows down the pace in which you can throw. 

Each lane at Crossfire features a solid wall in-between allowing each to operate individually.

5.) We have the refrigerator. You bring the drinks! 

We do not charge to bring your own beer and/or wine. We do not serve or sell any alcohol on site. Liquor is not allowed. 

GAME MODES

Most Axe Throwing venues offer a standard target made of 2×6 wood and painted on targets. With our projected targets, you can change the game mode so it never gets boring. Each lane is equipped with its own computer complete will a scoreboard above the target.
